Happy Purrfect Holidays
This is the current tree with Max cuddled underneath. He has gotten into trouble for eating the Christmas ribbon on the packages. I think he is showing me how cute he is here to dissolve my anger. He is my precious baby.
Merry Christmas
This is "I Believe" a pattern by Pat Sloan. It is finally quilted with the new Statler. We had lots of fun shooting in nutcrackers, mice, deer, and snowflakes. The top border reads "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year". There are poinsettias/stars down the side borders, and Christmas ornaments on the bottom border.

Mint Tulips
We had storms off and on Friday and Saturday, so I worked inside on quilts. I finished my pink tulip quilt yesterday. I planned to just finish the machine applique, and before I knew it, the borders were attached, and I was quilting. It is so light and airy. I just love this quilt. It is a Pat Sloan pattern in the book, The Best of Pat Sloan Applique Patterns. Pat's website is www.quiltershome.com
I also pieced two backs yesterday. One for Bloomin Rose which I will quilt next, and the other back for Windblown Posies.

Windblown Posies
I just finished putting on the borders of Windblown Posies. This is a free pattern by Pat Sloan on the P&B fabric website. Now I must search for the perfect back in my stash. I have three days to quilt it, or it goes on the LIST of quilts to be quilted. Ugh!
I have that list down to 20, and I do not want it growing again.

Blooms Inside and Out
The azaleas are almost finished blooming , and the roses are starting to bloom. Inside I am appliquing three quilts with flowers. One has orange and purple blooms, another many pink tulips. These are machine appliqued. I am hand appliqueing four dogwood blocks.
I hope to plant a flat or two of purple petunias this week, and begin my mulching.
